1. Our Commitment
At InvoiceAI, we're committed to your satisfaction. We offer a straightforward refund policy because we believe in the value of our product. If you're not completely satisfied with our service, we want to make things right.
2. Free Plan
Our Free plan is available at no cost and does not require any payment. Since there is no payment involved, there is no refund applicable for the Free plan. You can use the Free plan indefinitely to evaluate our service.
3. Monthly Subscriptions
For monthly subscription plans (Professional and Business):
- 14-Day Trial: Start with a 14-day free trial. No charges during the trial period.
- First 7 Days After Billing: Full refund available if requested within 7 days of the first payment after your trial ends.
- After 7 Days: No refunds for the current billing period, but you can cancel anytime to prevent future charges. You'll retain access until the end of your billing period.
- Renewals: Subsequent monthly renewals are non-refundable, but you can cancel before the next billing date.
4. Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscription plans:
- 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Full refund available within 30 days of purchase if you're not satisfied, no questions asked.
- Prorated Refunds (31-90 Days): If you request a refund between 31-90 days, we'll provide a prorated refund for the unused months, minus a 10% processing fee.
- After 90 Days: No refunds available, but you can cancel to prevent renewal. You'll retain access until the end of your annual subscription.
5. Enterprise Plans
Enterprise plans have custom terms negotiated at the time of purchase. Refund terms will be specified in your enterprise agreement. Please contact your account manager or enterprise@invoiceai.com for refund inquiries.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, you can:
- Email Us: Send an email to billing@invoiceai.com with your account email and the reason for your refund request.
- Support Portal: Submit a refund request through the Help section in your dashboard.
- Contact Support: Reach out to our customer support team through live chat.
Please include your registered email address, order/transaction ID, and reason for the refund request. We aim to process all refund requests within 5-7 business days.
7. Refund Processing
Once your refund is approved:
- Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of approval.
- Original Payment Method: Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Bank Processing: Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
- Confirmation: You'll receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed.
8. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:
- Account termination due to violation of Terms of Service
- Requests made outside the eligible refund period
- Failure to cancel a subscription before the renewal date
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content (as we cannot guarantee specific outcomes)
- Change of mind after the eligible refund period
- Promotional or discounted subscriptions (unless otherwise stated)
9. Subscription Cancellation
To cancel your subscription:
- Go to Settings → Billing in your dashboard
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm your cancellation
Upon cancellation:
- You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period
- Your data will be retained for 30 days after the billing period ends
- You can export your data at any time before deletion
- You can reactivate your subscription at any time
10. Downgrade Policy
If you downgrade from a higher plan to a lower plan (e.g., Business to Professional):
- The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- No prorated refunds are provided for downgrades
- You'll retain access to the higher-tier features until the billing period ends
- Data exceeding the new plan's limits will be preserved but may become read-only
11. Disputes
If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company, please contact us first so we can resolve the issue directly. Disputed charges that result in chargebacks may lead to account suspension and additional fees.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through our Service.
